Oral Surgery Patient Information

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery encompasses the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries, defects and esthetic aspects of the oral and maxillofacial area. Dr. Jui practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to pathologic disorders of the mouth and jaws as well as  wisdom tooth removal. She can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries and TMJ disorders, and performs a full range of dental implant procedures.

Dr. Jui received her doctorate from Washington University School of Dental Medicine, an accredited dental school and  completed an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program at the Nassau County Medical Center in Long Island, New York.This residency is a major affiliate of the  State University of New York at Stoneybrook and is  approved by the American Dental Association’s Commission of Dental Accreditation. Oral and maxillofacial surgery residency requires up to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training. In addition, she is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  In order to become board certified, an individual must complete an intensive application and examination process. Furthermore, the certification process requires a demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Surgical Staff

Dr. Jui’s  surgical staff are experienced oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who are certified by the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and assist in administration of I.V. sedation and surgery. All staff are also informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies and are CPR certified.
