Meet Our Staff

Dr. Jui’s  surgical staff are experienced oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who are certified by the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and assist in administration of I.V. sedation and surgery. All staff are also informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies and are CPR certified.

Shelby, Office Manager

With over 10 years of experience in the dental field and Dr. Jui directly, Shelby is both a Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant and a member of the Allied Professional staff at Hoag Memorial Hospital. She assists with both in-office procedures and major hospital based cases. Shelby is both CPR and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified. In her role as Dr. Jui’s office manager, she is uniquely qualified to address not only patient’s concerns regarding surgical procedures, but also their financial questions regarding insurance. Shelby completed comprehensive training in billing and coding from the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

 

Jessica, Assistant Manager/Surgical Assistant

In addition to working with Dr. Jui for the past 5 years, Jessica is a Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant. She is a member of the Allied Professional staff at Hoag Memorial Hospital. Jessica's experience qualifies her to assist Dr. Jui in office procedures and major trauma or reconstructive cases in the operating room. She is CPR and ACLS certified. Jessica's experience and pleasant personality puts patients at ease when making appointment or discussing billing or insurance issues.

 

Ryan, Surgical Assistant

Ryan has worked as an oral surgery assistant with Dr. Jui for the past 3 years. He is a Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant and is CPR certified.

 

Julian, Insurance Specialist/Reception

Julian brings with him 9 years of experience in the oral and maxillofacial surgery field, the last two being with Dr. Jui. His vast experience allows him unique insight as to the surgical process as well as complex insurance situations. He is a Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant and is CPR certified.
